Here is something I wanted to do for a long time. Let me present you a brief history of the movie trailer in the cinema insustry, and what it could have been in the early years of the movie birth.
Every trailer is edited differently, given the technical possibilities of its decade.
To be able to make such a documentary, I took an example with The Lord Of The Rings, one of my all time favorite saga movies. The sequences are mainly from Peter Jackson's original trailer.
I adapted the visual appearance to make it look like every technical process used during the past 100 years. Of course the list isn't exhaustive, but it sums up pretty well how the movie condition has evolved all along the decades.
